Lower School

Young children learn through exploration, experimentation and play.  Through a mixture of planned play experiences and adult led activities your child will develop skills relevant to his/her needs.  It is through play that children learn to relate to each other, to listen and share, to express their feelings, investigate and discover.

We aim to create a happy and stimulating environment in which children are motivated to learn and reach their full potential. When a child is successful his/her self esteem increases and so does his/her tenacity and resilience.  At Newton Prep your child will be encouraged to value and respect others, and to work as part of a group.
