Book Fair
During Book Week last year, held from 26th to the 30th June, we had a very successful Book Fair. This was extremely well supported by both parents and children.
As a result, Scholastic gave us a Book Voucher which we could use to buy books. The charity selected by the Pupil Parliament for that term was Great Ormond Street Hospital, so it seemed very appropriate for the library to support the same charity, and to donate £350 worth of new books (selected by Mrs Dominique Pierro from GOSH) to the newly opened Dinosaur Ward at the hospital. The donation was delivered by Mrs Beyers and 4 members of the pupil parliament shortly after the long summer break.
